FAVORITE QUOTES I gathered a few of my favorite quotes and scenes involving Naru throughout the series, so I thought I'd share them with you all. Please note that due to these episodes being fansubbed versions, the translation didn't always sound perfect, so I modified them a bit, trying to keep the context the same.

EPISODE 01
"I'll crucify him, cut out his tongue, and send him to hell." (Naru to Keitaro, after being seen in only a towel)

EPISODE 02
"Why...is he doing all this for her?! N-not that I care (!)"

EPISODE 05
"Went to the bathroom... He doesn't even have the guts to do something." (This is specifically after she ordered Keitaro to stay on 'his side.')

The reason I went home all of a sudden was because I was thinking this over alone... because I couldn't look at your face and think about this... I remembered a lot of things... like the first time we met, you should've gone along with the lie... but you tried to leave saying, 'It's not good to lie,' right? That was the first time I'd seen a person as dumb as you... I was in my room for a long time, and my hair got like this... and look! I even thought about it until I had bags under my eyes. LOVE HINA AGAIN: KANAKO (EP 1)
(Two Narusegawas enter, the real one in a raccoon suit, along with Kanako, the imposter.)
(Shinobu) "There're two Naru-senpais?!"
(Motoko) "Which one is the real one?"
(Naru) "You should know just by looking!"
(Kitsune) "She's a raccoon from the waist down... (Kitsune points to Kanako.) That one's the real one!"
(Naru) "And you call yourself a best friend?!"

LOVE HINA AGAIN: KEITARO (EP 2)
(Keitaro, to Kanako, thinking she's Naru) "Thanks... for coming. I've... liked you for a long time."
(Kanako) "Really?"
(Keitaro) "When I was small, I know I promised many things, but... The promise I made with you is the most important to me. I... want to make the promise with you come true! So, together... together..."
(Kanako looks up.)
(Keitaro) "YES! Well... this... Narusegawa..."
(Kanako turns around.) "Onii-chan.."
(Keitaro gasps, realizing it's not Naru, and drops the box with the silver ring in it.)
(Narusegawa walks in.)
(Naru) "Kana-chan! Sorry, the letter just now was for me..."
(Purple bolts of lightning shoot out, as the 'magic' starts to work.)
(Keitaro and Kanako are lifted off the floor and then fall back down.)
(Naru) "Keitaro!"
(Naru tries to run towards them but is stopped by some force.)
(Keitaro) "Narusegawa!"
(Kanako) "You're too late, Naru-san... Now I accept my Onii-chan's feelings. Onii-chan kept his promise with me."
(Kanako holds up the letter Keitaro had written to Naru.)
(Kanako) "And this is its proof."
(Keitaro grabs Kanako.)
(Keitaro) "No! Kanako, that's..."
(The ring falls towards Naru, and she picks it up.)
(Naru) "Keitaro... this..."
(Keitaro) "Narusegawa! That's..."
(Kanako) "Onii-chan!"
(Keitaro looks straight at Naru.)
(Keitaro) "That's... for you."

LOVE HINA AGAIN: NARU (EP 3)
(Keitaro) "Hey, Narusegawa...?"
(Naru) "Like you..."
(Keitaro stares at her questioningly, saying, 'huh?')
(Naru suddenly turns around, with tear-stained eyes and a red face.)
(Naru) "I like you! Like you! Like you! Of course I like you! I'm sorry!"
(Naru starts flailing her arms about, as Keitaro puts his arm up as a shield.)
(Naru) "I'm not the promised girl, but I still like you! Liiike you! Like you! I LOVE YOU!"
(Naru puts her arms and head down, and Keitaro looks over at her.)
(Naru) "I love you..."
(Keitaro looks shocked and then smiles.)
(Keitaro) "Thanks."
(Keitaro hands her the ring.)
(Keitaro) "And... this..."
(Naru snatches it from Keitaro's hand and looks up, about to cry... then tears stream down her face, as she jolts forward to kiss Keitaro. They lie down together, kissing, as Keitaro wraps his arms around her.)
